We are sited ideally for transport links. Glasgow Airport is just 5 minutes away for air travel. For rail, Paisley Gilmour Street station is 10 minutes away and is one of the main through stations for trains in the west coast area. For those travelling by road we are just off the M8 motorway, which connects Edinburgh to Glasgow.
The Centre is located close to some of the beautifully scenic locations in Scotland. Close by are the Glennifer Braes, Loch Thom and Muirshiel Country Park. The Erskine Bridge is just 5 minutes drive away, and gives swift access to Loch Lomond, the Trossachs and Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, with Glencoe and the Highlands not much further on.
Scotland is of course famous for golf, and there are many courses within easy reach. Outdoor pursuits can be found at Castle Semple in Lochwinnoch. There are a number of sports centres nearby which can be hired, and for the more leisurely among us Paisley and Glasgow have some excellent parks.
The XScape ski centre offers all-year round winter sports with its indoor snow slope, and also has climbing walls and adventure golf for the younger ones.
Glasgow is only 10 minutes away, and offers a great cultural heritage. Some marvellous architecture can be found in the city centre and the West End area, and the city has a number of museums and art galleries, which are free to enter. A little further afield, Stirling and Edinburgh also offer great history and castles to visit.
The nearby town of Paisley and city of Glasgow offer a host of quality restaurants, whether you're looking to discover the traditional Scottish fair or sample foods from around the world (Glasgow has strong links with Italy and with India, which has benefitted the city's restaurants greatly). The XScape complex also has a number of big-name eating establishments together in one place.
